A total of 37 unauthorised structures and six cement pillars were removed, including 35 structures dismantled between Guwahati and Kamakhya stations.

The campaign aims to protect railway land, improve track visibility, enhance safety and prevent future encroachments, while curbing anti-social activities along railway tracks. NFR urged the public to avoid unauthorised occupation of railway property and support railway safety efforts.
