DIMAPUR, May 28: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) at its 2nd federal assembly held at Jongpha village (Western Rengma) in Karbi Anglong district of Assam on Thursday unanimously resolved to ‘re-strengthen Naga unity and collective identity’.
The meeting, hosted by the Rengma Students’ Union (RSU), called upon all sections of Naga society to rise above differences and work collectively toward strengthening solidarity, cooperation, and mutual understanding for the collective welfare, security, and future of the Naga people.
The federation stressed that despite the artificial boundaries and geographical divisions imposed upon the Nagas, the need of the hour for all Nagas is to remain united under the enduring spirit of ‘One voice, one Naga’.
After thorough deliberations, the assembly unanimously reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to preserving Naga unity and advancing the shared vision and aspirations of the Naga people in one voice and one spirit.
It also resolved to extend its unwavering solidarity to the Naga people affected by the ongoing conflict in ‘southern Nagalim’.
Strongly condemning the unwarranted attacks on Naga civilians by Kuki militants and their cohorts, the NSF reiterated its firm position that ‘any attack on one Naga is an attack on all Nagas’.
It appealed to all Naga citizens to uphold prayers for the well-being, safety, peace, and unity of the Naga people wherever they are.
