NTPC Director (HR) reviews NTPC Bongaigaon Salakati operations

KOKRAJHAR, April 18: AK Jadli, Director (HR), NTPC Limited, undertook a comprehensive review of operations of NTPC Bongaigaon on Friday.

During his tour of the unit control room, Jadli interacted with the operations engineers and appreciated their dedication, technical excellence, and commitment to ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the nation.

In a meeting with the Site Management Committee, held in the presence of Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, and Debabrata Kar, GM (O&M), Jadli addressed the Heads of Departments and shared insights on NTPC’s long-term growth strategy. He highlighted the rapidly evolving dynamics of the power sector and encouraged all teams to continuously upgrade their skills and embrace emerging technologies in line with NTPC’s forward-looking vision.

A special highlight of the visit was the inauguration of 24 newly constructed blocks of B-Type quarters, comprising a total of 120 residential units.
This major addition to the township infrastructure reflected NTPC’s unwavering commitment to employee welfare and quality living standards. The inauguration took place in the presence of Abha Jadli, Senior Member, Sanyukta Mahila Samiti; Arnab Maitra, Head of Project; Debabrata Kar, GM (O&M); Kasturi Maitra, President, Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club; and Soumya Kar, Vice President, Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club.

On the occasion, Jadli also released the coffee table book “Aamar Jiyori” (Our Daughter), showcasing the inspiring journey of the Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) over the past three years at NTPC Bongaigaon. He later interacted with young engineers and representatives of employee unions and associations, appreciating their energy, ideas, and commitment to NTPC’s continued growth and excellence.
