DALGAON, Aug 19: Outrage spread over the death of a school student in Bechimari on Saturday. Angry students, including local people, blocked NH 15 for more than an hour. According to information, Mamoni Parbin, a class 8 student studying in Sankadev Jatiya Vidyalaya, while returning home from school, was run over by a speeding ultra bus and fled from the spot. In protest against this painful accident, more than 2 thousand people including students gathered and started protest demanding action against uncontrolled high speed ultra and dumper. Due to the negligence of the traffic police, the loss of controllability of dumpers, including ultra, on the national highway has claimed many lives, due to which there was a lot of anger among the people. The protestors, demanding justice for student’s death, to control the vehicles on the highway, continued the demonstration on the highway for about two hours, due to which the traffic was disrupted. However, Dalgaon police station in-charge went to the spot and pacified the situation by assuring the protesters of action.
