BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 20: A delegate of the regional committee of Pabhoi AASU under Biswanath district AASU submitted a memorandum to Biswanath DC on Wednesday demanding upgradation of internet services of AGVB’s (Assam Gramin Vikash Bank) located at Pabhoi and Balichung, to the northern part of Biswanath. It is to be noted here that the two banks located at Pabhoi and Balichung are the only banks located in the greater area of the northern part of Biswanath. But due to non availability of servers, the financial transactions of concerned banks remain non-functional many times. The people had to suffer because of their inability to withdraw their hard earned savings. The Pabhoi regional committee of AASU submitted a memorandum demanding immediate and smooth functioning of the concerned banks without any delay. Ajmat Sheikh, vice president of Biswanath AASU, Hemanta Sona, Sushil Tanti, Amar Bey were present while submitting the memo on Wednesday.
