People in BTR rejected Hagrama: UPPL 

‘Liabilities of BPF passed on to the UPPL’

KOKRAJHAR, March 25: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has stated that people in BTR have rejected BPF party and its leader Hagrama Mohilary.

Addressing the reporters on Tuesday at a press conference held at the UPPL party office in Kokrajhar, UPPL General Secretary, Raju Kumar Narzary has termed that BPF president Hagrama Mohilary is a failure as well as rejected leader in today’s juncture.

Narzary has come down heavily on Mohilary, who was former chief of BTC, said that Mohilary never thought of the welfare and development of the common masses in his 17 year rule in BTC. He said that Mohilary had indulged in more than Rs 2900 crore of anomalies and corruption in the developmental sectors which were meant public development during the BPF rule period.

Narzary accused of that Mohilary was masterminds of the massive liabilities that have been passed on to the present UPPL led BTR government.

He denied the allegations of Mohilary levelled against the UPPL led BTR government, said that the present council government has been working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the citizens, and necessary initiaves are initiated across the region.

He said that the BPF party and Hagrama Mohilary had failed to address the grievance and issues of the citizens during their reign.

Narzary claimed that no any fund as well as developmental schemes has been found misused in the present government, and so far various welfare aspects have been seen utilized in the field of development across the region.

He mentioned that since formation of the BTR government, people cutting across the communities are getting congenial environment amongst society, and people’s integration have been prevailed with tranquility and peace. He said that today the Bodoland region has reached to a peaceful environment, and subsequently various developmental projects are coming out in the region.

He said that the UPPL led BTR government has been committed to work for all round development of the citizens, and subsequently rendering relentless services towards the welfare and development since it’s voted to the reign.
