JAGIROAD, July 17: Water Resources minister and Jagiroad MLA, Pijush Hazarika, laid the foundation stone for three Anganwadi centers in Ghogua and Garmari Gram Panchayats under the jurisdiction of Jagiroad Legislative Assembly Constituency. The minister, addressing the gathering at Bholukaguri Ranga Manch, expressed deep satisfaction over the construction of the Anganwadi centers, which will fulfill the dreams of chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for the overall development of children in the region. The event was attended by deputy commissioner Devasish Sarma, superintendent of police Hemanta Kumar Das, officials from the Social Welfare and Child Development departments, Tiwa Autonomous Council, and Gram Panchayat representatives. This significant step highlights the government’s commitment to provide a nurturing environment for the holistic development of children, promoting early childhood education, health, and nutrition. The Anganwadi centers will play a vital role in realising the vision set forth by the chief minister, contributing to the well-being and progress of the community.
