Pramod Boro Distributes Cheque Among Meritorious Students

KOKRAJHAR, April 12: Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member Pramod Boro on Tuesday ceremonially distributed cash awards and incentives to those meritorious students who are pursuing degrees from various prominent educational institutions like IIT and NIT. The MBBS students and PhD scholars under BTR districts also received the same.

A total of 181 students under BTR districts were given cash awards and incentives by the Education department of Bodoland Territorial Region government.

The distribution programme was organised at IT Park, Chandrapara in Kokrajhar on Tuesday. Boro ceremonially distributed the cash award and incentives and said that the BTR government has been emphasising on quality education for all in the region.

He said that the Education department of Bodoland Territorial Region government has been taking steps to better the learning condition across the region and has been extending support to the students who are pursuing higher studies.

He said that the BTR government is committed to fulfill the aspirations of each and every student.

“It is my pleasure to distribute the awards & incentives to the meritorious students,” Boro added.

BTC executive members Dhananjay, Dharma Narayan Das, BTC MCLA Madhav Chetry, BTC education director Jagadish Prasad Brahma were also present during the event.
