 Rajmai Tea Estate School Celebrates International Women’s Day

DEMOW, March 4: Under the patronage of district social welfare department, Sivasagar in association with Sonapur Social Development Society, an NGO organized International Women Day in Rajmai Tea Estate Adarsha High Medium School on Saturday.

On the occasion of International Women Day a half marathon competition was organized on Saturday which was inaugurated by Khagen Phukan, police officer of Demow Police Station and Binapani Manki, president of Kharahat Gaon Panchayat.

Around 150 Students took part in the half marathon competition. Under the president ship of Rijumoni Gogoi, gender specialist (DHEW) and Bidisha Dutta, district mission coordinator (DHEW) the programme was organized.
