BOKAJAN, Oct 25: The MLA of Bokajan and deputy speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly, Dr Numal Momin distributed relief from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund 2022-23. The function was held in the premises of PHE Inspection Bungalow, Bokajan.

From the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, scholarship cheques of Rs 5,000 were distributed to students.
Dr Momin said that scholarships to students whose families are needy have been distributed three times this year from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He requested the beneficiaries to use the money judiciously.
In the said function, reliefs for medical issues were also given to BPL families. Altogether 190 students received scholarships with a total of Rs 9.20 lakh and 69 got relief for medical purposes amounting to Rs 8.8 lakh.
The cheque distribution ceremony was attended by president of BJP, Sarupathar Mondal Committee, Lakhiram Rongpi; chairman of Bokajan Block Level Coordination Committee, Bipin Indover and others.
