DIPHU, March 3: A fatal road accident near Langparpan LP School, under Bokolia police station in Karbi Anglong on Monday claimed the life of a woman.
According to sources, the victim was riding a scooter (AS-09J6328) along NH-129 Doboka-Dimapur road when a speeding 12-wheeler cement-laden truck collided with her, resulting in her death on the spot. The accident occurred around 1:30 pm.

The truck driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle.
