Road Mishap in Bokajan

BOKAJAN: An oil tanker, NL 07 AA 1087, turned turtle at Zero Point under Dillai police station in Karbi Anglong. The oil tanker turned on its side and blocked the road. Eyewitness said the truck was speeding. Fire brigades arrived on the scene and lifted the vehicle.

The place where the accident took place is a turning and it’s an accident prone area. Villagers said that since the particular stretch of road is a safety hazard to them they want the authorities to straighten it.
