MORIGAON, March 2:Â Gerua Higher Secondary School observed Science Day on Thursday and on the occasion, a seminar on superstition, ill-culture and science mind under the banner of Innovative & Community Learning Hub of the Gerua Higher Secondary school under Laharighat education block was organised.
A meeting on the eve of the seminar was also held which was presided over by the principal of the school, Bubumoni Goswami. Jitu Bordoloi, an assistant teacher, delivered a valuable speech in the programme. He asked the students to develop their minds with scientific temperament and avoid superstitious beliefs. He also emphasised on the importance of scientific temperament in the society.
The meeting was also attended by the assistant teachers — Babul Bora, Krishna Kr Deka, Durgeswar Bhuyan, Ajit Kr Bodu, Binesh Basumatary, Siva Prasad Saikia and Ramlal Chouhan.
