JORHAT, March 16: Jorhat district magistrate Pulak Mahanta has imposed certain restrictions for smooth conduct of Combined Competitive Examinations (Prelims) 2022, of Assam Public Service Commission to be held on March 26.

An order issued by the district magistrate under Section 144 of Cr PC has prohibited entry of unauthorised persons and unnecessary crowding around the premises of examination centres and within 100 metres radius of the centres.

Carrying of mobile phones, electronic devices and unauthorised and suspected objects, by the examinees to examination hall have been barred by the order.
Authorised persons engaged in the conduct of the examination have been cautioned not to aid students/examinees through unfair means, the order mentioned, adding that anyone found violating the prohibitions would be dealt under Section 188 of the CrPC.
The order comes into immediate effect and will be in force until further order.
