TEZPUR, Oct 22: Apprehending threat to human life as well as cattle and other domestic animals during night hours due to free movement of a stray rhino in the area, the district magistrate, Sonitpur has imposed Section 144 of CrPC, and issued an order prohibiting the movement of general public during night hours in greater Bihaguri area under Tezpur PS and surrounding areas.

The order will come into force with immediate effect in the greater Bihaguri area under Tezpur revenue circle and will remain in force till the rescue operation of the rhino is completed, a release stated.
