JAGIROAD, March 22: Morigaon district magistrate Devashish Sharma on Wednesday promulgated Section 144 of the Penal Code applicable to the entire district.

This is done on account of the forthcoming APSC examination to be conducted on March 26 next. As per the directive unauthorised persons shall not enter and make unnecessary noise within a radius of 50 meters of the examination centre in the district. Candidates shall not carry unauthorised suspicious objects, mobile phones, electronic equipment etc. to the examination centre.  The order came into force immediately and will remain in force until the examination process is completed.
