Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jorhat, located at Borera village in Titabar has completed its 25th anniversary in the year 2020.
However, the silver jubilee celebrations had to be cancelled for the past three years due to the devastating COVID-19 pandemic. However, in conjunction with the silver jubilee, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Jorhat Alumni Association (JNVJAA) has been conducting activities like training for competitive examinations in various subjects, career counselling, awareness campaigns on mental health and cleaning drives etc since the year 2019. It is worth mentioning that during the pandemic, the association distributed smartphones among the students of J.N.V. Jorhat, who could not purchase mobile phones to take online courses.
