BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 2: As part of Vidyarambh Programme at Assam Adarsha Vidyalaya, Borpam a public meeting was organised with Gopal Das, former president of Chengamari branch of Assam Sahitya Sabha in the chair on Saturday.
The programme began with a Borgeet performed by Jimani Borthakur followed by a welcome address by Nripen Bordoloi, managing director of the school. Headmaster Sanjay Kalita explained the objectives of the meeting. After a detailed discussion, a new resolution for establishment of music school namely Borpam Adarsha Sangeet Vidyalaya was adopted.

The programme was attended by Nipen Das, Jiten Tamuli, Biswajit Sut, Ripunjoy Bordoloi besides other dignitaries. MD Nripen Bordoloi informed that two teachers for music and dance as well were already appointed by the school management committee which will start functioning from this academic session.
