GUWAHATI, June 22: Special outreach camps have been launched in Kokrajhar district under the Government of India’s flagship initiative, ‘Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan’, aimed at empowering tribal communities through enhanced awareness and service delivery.
According to an official statement, the camps are being held from June 20 to July 8, 2025, across various tribal villages in the district.
The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness about tribal rights and entitlements, facilitate enrolment in welfare schemes, and ensure direct access to government benefits.
Key departments such as Health, Agriculture, and Banking institutions are actively involved in the initiative.
They are offering on-ground services including health check-ups, financial inclusion support, agricultural assistance, and guidance on accessing various government schemes.
The campaign, grounded in the principle of public participation, reflects the government’s focus on inclusive development and improving last-mile service delivery in tribal areas.
