Authorities have identified a suspect in connection with the suspected IED blast near Kokrajhar Railway Station, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Thursday.
Speaking at the Mahila Udyomita Scheme distribution programme in Bongaigaon, Sarma confirmed that the individual has multiple complaints registered in Assam and Jharkhand.

On whether the suspect had links to any organisation, Sarma stated that such information would be revealed only after the investigation is complete. “We will determine if the person is supported by any group after a proper investigation,” he added.
