MORIGAON, Sept 4: In a tragic turn of events, three young individuals from Ouguri in the Bhurbandha Block, namely Dipjyoti Bora (18), Tanmoy Medhi (18), and Pallab Deka (18), lost their lives today while attempting to cool off from the scorching heat. The trio had ventured to Dighalipather in Doloisuba, located approximately 3 km from Morigaon town, with the intention of swimming.
Sadly, their day took a tragic turn when they encountered a watery grave after jumping into the deep pond at Dighalipather. The three deceased youths were students at Bhurbandha College. Pulin Kakoty, a reporter from Bhurbandha, shared insights into the incident, revealing that these three HS final year students from Bhurbandha College had a routine of going for an evening walk together after returning from college. Unfortunately, on Monday, they decided to swim in the pond, which they had never done before, and tragedy struck when they drowned.
