Trains cancelled, rescheduled due to track safety work

GUWAHATI, April 29: In view of the temporary restriction on train movement from 18:00 hours to 06:00 hours between Jatinga Lampur and New Haflong stations under Lumding division of Northeast Frontier Railway, for undertaking track safety related works, a number of trains have been cancelled, regulated and rescheduled.

The Guwahati – Silchar Express, the Silchar – Guwahati Express, the Silchar – Naharlagun Special, the Rangiya – Silchar Express and the Guwahati – Dullabcherra Express were scheduled to leave on Monday. The Naharlagun – Silchar Special and the Dullabcherra – Guwahati Express were scheduled to leave on Tuesday.  The Silchar – Rangiya Express is scheduled to leave on May 1.

The SMVT Bengaluru – Agartala Express, which commenced on its journey on April 26, has been regulated for 10 hours. The Secunderabad – Silchar Express commencing on its journey on April 27, has been regulated for 10 hours. The Kolkata – Agartala Special commencing on its journey on April 28, has been regulated for nine hours. The Sealdah – Agartala Express, which commenced on its journey on April 28, has been regulated for four hours.

The Agartala – Rani Kamalapati Special of April 28 was rescheduled at 23:00 hours. The Agartala – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Special of April 28 was rescheduled at 23:30 hours. The Agartala – Anand Vihar Terminal Tejas Express of April 29 was rescheduled at 22:00 hours. The Silchar – New Delhi Purvottar Sampark Kranti Express of April 29 has been rescheduled at 23:50 hours.
