Udali College unveils new administrative building

NAGAON, April 3: The newly constructed administrative building of Udali College was ceremonially inaugurated at a function recently by Amalendu Chakraborty, vice chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Hojai. Dr Arun Bora, principal of the college, chaired the program. A research book published by the college publications cell titled ‘Anneshan’ was also released by Dr Sagar Baruah, the retired principal of Khagarijan College, Nagaon, and the president of the college management committee. The book was jointly edited by Rashna Baruah, Salma Akhtara, and Mustak Ahmed. Additionally, the college’s souvenir was ceremonially released by Dr Amarjeet Singh Bhui, principal of Lanka Mahavidyalaya.

Following the inaugural session, a lecture program was organised on ‘The Role of Higher Education in Building a Society’, in which Amalendu Chakraborty, vice chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, delivered the keynote speech on the subject, as asserted in a press note here.
