TEZPUR, Dec 3: An unidentified male body, aged about 45, was found by the Rangapara Railway Police on Tuesday at 8:30 am in front of the VIP room on platform number 1 of Rangapara Railway Station in the district of Sonitpur. Railway Police sources said that the deceased had been a beggar and was found wearing blue sportswear and black long pants. The unidentified and unclaimed body is to be preserved in the mortuary of Tezpur Medical College Hospital for a period of 72 hours after an autopsy to facilitate identification and subsequent handing over to the legal guardian or family members (if any) of the deceased.
