The woman, identified as Priya Mishra, who claimed to be the legal advisor of Amritpal Singh, stayed at the Dibrugarh Address hotel for nearly two months.

The owner of the Dibrugarh Address hotel has filed an FIR at the Dibrugarh Police Station against Mishra.

Bhaswati Phukan, one of the hotel owners, said, “On June 13, 2024, at around 10:25 am, Priya Mishra checked into our Dibrugarh Address hotel. She stayed with us for nearly two months and claimed to be the legal advisor of Amritpal Singh. Most of the time, she stayed at the hotel, and on August 13, 2024, at around 6:28 am, she checked out. Her total bill was Rs 1,57,800, of which she paid Rs 1 lakh. However, she attempted to pay the remaining amount of Rs 53,000 through UPI during her checkout, but the payment was not credited to our account.”

“We have filed an FIR against her and requested that she clear the dues. However, she has yet to settle the amount. Twice, she attempted to pay using VMCCS gold payment, but the payment did not go through. We have CCTV footage and all the billing details. She also provided her Aadhaar card to our management during her stay,” Phukan said.
