GUWAHATI, April 5: Surya Gold Cement has been acknowledged as ‘Ni-kshay Mitra’ under Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Under this initiative, it provided ‘Nutrients Food packages’ for six months to the consented TB patients identified under Tamulikuchi State Dispensary. The food packages were distributed from October 2022 to March 2023 under its CSR program.
The concluding ceremony was attended by Dr Mridul Bharati Nath – District TB officer; Dr. Alpana Baishya – Medical & Health officer of Tamulikuchi Sub-division; Amrik Singh – VP (comm), Purbanchal Cement Ltd; Dr. Simanta Bora among other staff of Health department.

The campaign aims to eliminate TB by 2025 underneath this campaign, any person, any representative or organization, and the adopted TB patients are going to be taken care of.
