Rashtrabhakti Utsav celebrated with patriotic fervour

GUWAHATI, Nov 21: Shree Hari Satsang Samiti, Purvottar, organised the ‘Rashtrabhakti Utsav’ at the Machkhowa ITA Centre in Guwahati. International artist Baba Satyanarayan Mourya and his team mesmerised the gathering with their patriotic performances. Baba Mourya surprised everyone by painting pictures of great personalities like Srimanta Sankardev, Bharat Mata, Swami Vivekananda, Sri Ram, Lord Hanuman, etc. During the program, the entire atmosphere echoed with slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.

The program started with the lighting of lamps by the guests. Chairman Ajit Kumar Jana, while welcoming all the members present in the auditorium, also highlighted the historic success of the ‘Rashtrabhakti Utsav’ conducted by Baba Mourya in different districts of Assam recently. Thereafter, program coordinator Vivek Jalan presented an overview of the programs completed so far in the ‘Rashtrabhakti Utsav’ series, which has been ongoing since November 8, through a PowerPoint presentation. He informed the audience that seven programs have been organised so far in locations such as Limbuguri Tea Estate Field, Diryal Tea Estate Field, TDA of Tinsukia District Auditorium, Amguri in Sivasagar district, Dirai Tea Estate in Dibrugarh district, Doni-Polo Complex in Silapathar, and Bokakhat Natya Mandir in Bokakhat.
