We were about to prepare the memorandum with several other issues and for which we had a separate meeting of power department workers union meeting and in the passage of time other department were preparing for the democratic movement.”

“It is a fact that we have been demanding for 13 months salary for the electrical workers as the workers of power department work day and night in every weather condition without carrying for their life. Every year we witness series of accident wherein the life of the employees are at the stake and there is no scheme to cope up with them. Another important issue was that retirement issues which has come as bolt from blue but everything seems settled for sometimes as the state government has listened to our genuine grievances and we are grateful to the Pema Khandu led government,” said RIngu Chapo.
