Indian Army Constructs Bazaar Shed For Locals In Kohima

GUWAHATI, April 19: Troops of Red Shield division of spear corps handed over Bazaar Sheds at Kigwema village near Kohima, Nagaland to the villagers and local market body on Monday. The Bazaar Sheds were provisioned under Operation Sadbhavna to meet the requirements of villagers for a covered area for setting up shops during the weekly market at Kigwema Village which is the mainstay of the rural economy in this area.

Village chairman, Village headman, Women’s Council and other town council members attended the inauguration ceremony. The local population expressed gratitude towards the Indian Army for making meaningful contributions to the local issues.
