Nagaland CineFest 2025 concludes

KOHIMA, March 1: The valedictory programme of Nagaland CineFest 2025, organised by department of information & public relations (DIPR) in collaboration with Ministry of information & broadcasting and National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC), concluded at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow, Kohima, on Saturday.

The two day film festival showcased various films, documentaries from various filmmakers and also held masterclasses from industry experts thereby experiencing and celebrating cinema.

Meanwhile, director, information & public relations, Nagaland, Dzüvinuo Theünuo, expressed gratitude to Advisor to the chief minister & chairman, IDAN, Abu Metha, for his role in encouraging and harnessing the creative potential of the youth.  She acknowledged the filmmakers and resource persons for allowing the attendees to be exposed to different film genres and sharing their insight.

Theünuo also extended her gratitude to Live Now Event for their logistic support, moderators, The Heritage management, and the students from various schools and colleges.

Joint director, information & public relations, Nagaland, Asangla Imsong, reflected on the past two days emphasizing that the films shown have had a profound power to evoke emotions and foster conversations to all who have attended. The masterclasses and conversations with upcoming artists sharing their experiences and lessons to the audience, she said, was an enriching experience.

The programme was chaired by Imchadila Longkumer and a special song was presented by Kedovituo Peseyie. (NNN)
