No fresh Covid-19 infection, no death in Manipur

IMPHAL, Oct 31 (NNN): Covid-19 active caseload in Manipur declined to 17 after two patients were discharged upon recovery. The State also reported no fresh cases.

The Covid-19 update reports of the State Health department showed no fresh cases even as 98 samples were tested for the virus in the last 24 hours.

The State also reported no pandemic-related death in the last 24 hours.

However, two patients were discharged after they recovered from the infection on the day.

The State’s infection tally stood at 1,39,883 while the fatality toll at 2,149 and the recovery tally rose to 1,37,714 after adding the two fresh recoveries.

The State has 17 active cases at present.

Meanwhile, the doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in the State rose to 32,54,419 as 250 more people were vaccinated on Saturday.

Out of 16,47,290 people who got vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19, 13,33,357 of them received the second dose so far. Another 2,73,772 people have taken the precautionary dose of the vaccine, the latest bulletin said.
