GRP Officer-in-Charge Tapas Das, speaking on Sunday, confirmed that the joint operation led to the detention of five individuals who had crossed the international border illegally. Among those detained were Sukur Ali, a Bangladeshi from Comilla, and four Rohingya nationals—Amir Haqil, Yasmin Akhtar, Md Tareq, and Md Ulla.

“They admitted during initial interrogation that they had crossed the border without proper documentation and were headed to cities like Chennai, Gujarat, and Hyderabad,” said Das.
