ID Cup Football Tourney: Assam Rifles Beat Laneroll FC

NAGAON, Sept 22: In the second semi final match of the ongoing 74th ID Cup prize money football tournament here at Nagaon Nurul Amin Stadium playground, Assam Rifles smashed all the barriers initiated by its rebel – Laneroll FC, Cachar and entered into the final of the tournament by 7 – 2.

Rogar Singh, S Rabha, Daniel Meitie, David Lalrin Chand and Haokip netted those 7 goals for Assam Rifles while on behalf of Laneroll FC, P Aulien and Imanuel KB scored those two goals.

The players of Assam Rifles dominated the entire match since the beginning and had left no scope to its rebel to bring back their enthusiasm till the end.

In the final of the ID Cup prize money football tournament, Oil India Limited FC will confront with Assam Rifles on September 24 next.
