NAGAON, Sept 9: In a league level match of the ongoing 74th ID prize money cup football tournament being organised by Nagaon Sports Association at Kampur playground on Friday, Star Sporting Club beat Eleven Star, Bongaigaon with 2-0 margin. Denish Bodo of Star Sporting Club netted the first goal in 24 minutes while Madhab Bordoloi of the same club scored the second in 61 minutes.
Simultaneously, in another match of the same round of the tournament at Dhing playground, Upper Assam FC, Duliajan defeated Kharseng club, Majuli in tie breaker with 4 – 3 margin. The match concluded with a draw with 1 – 1. Dipankar Das of Upper Assam FC, Duliajan netted a goal in 30 minutes while Pitambar Payeng of Karseng Club, Majuli returned it in 80 minutes.
