Jesika Teronpi Felicitated

DIPHU, Aug 6: Jesika Teronpi, who won a Bronze medal in 18th Junior and Senior Jump Rope Federation Cup, 2022 was accorded a warm welcome and felicitated for her success at Diphu Railway Station on her return from Karnataka by her parents, sports persons and friends.

The competition was organised by Jump Rope Federation of India held at Sri Saileela Ranga Mandira, Hospet, Vijayanagar district, Karnataka from July 29 to 31.

She was among the 15 players representing Assam from Karbi Anglong.

Jesika Teronpi is the daughter of Dhonsing Teron and Rengka Tokbipi of Council Colony, Diphu.

The Assam coach, Samimet Angrong Tissopi said there were 15 States participating in the competition. From Assam there were 15 players participating in the competition. Assam has stood in third position.

“We are proud that one of the players from Karbi Anglong representing Assam, Jesika Teronpi has won a Bronze medal. She has been selected to participate in the next competition to be held in Thailand next month (September).”
