TEZPUR, July 26: A Women Entrepreneurship Development Awareness programme was organised in Tezpur, in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise, Government of India, Tezpur Branch, District Industry and Commerce Centre Tezpur, Edupur Employment Services Pvt. Ltd., and Tezpur Agro & Allied Processors Industry.
The event aimed to promote women entrepreneurship and facilitate the on-the-spot Udyam registration for women entrepreneurs. The program commenced with an introduction to MSME schemes and benefits by Raj Mohnani, assistant director of MSME, Tezpur Branch, followed by Manonayan Pathak, assistant manager of DICC, Sonitpur, and Dr Bitupan Bora from DEDC, Sonitpur.
Amit Raj Konwar, founder director of Edupur Foundation, conducted the training framework for 30 women entrepreneurs of Tezpur and Sonitpur. He emphasised the importance of mentorship, training, and guidance for aspiring women entrepreneurs to succeed in their businesses. The event witnessed the successful registration of more than 30 women entrepreneurs for Udyam registration, empowering them to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
