MORIGAON, Oct 29: The Morigaon Sambadik Samaj has declared a boycott of MLA Ramakanta Deuri following an intense backlash from members of the journalistic organization.

The MLA representing the Morigaon constituency, Ramakanta Deuri, notorious for his controversial demeanor within the ruling party, has sparked a heated dispute with the Morigaon Sambadik Samaj, allegedly due to disparaging remarks towards media personnel during an interview. President Ajit Sarma and Secretaries Manabendra Nath and Bikash Deka expressed strong opposition to the MLA’s comments in a written complaint.

The Morigaon Sambadik Samaj demands a public apology from MLA Ramakanta Deuri for his perceived disparagement of media individuals. In an accusatory letter, the organization has insisted on the MLA’s admission of guilt, emphasizing that they will not tolerate such disrespectful behavior unless he acknowledges his fault publicly.
