MARGHERITA, Dec 27: In a significant stride towards enhancing the educational infrastructure, an Adarsha Prak Prathamik Classroom was inaugurated at Margherita Segunbari LP School on Wednesday. The initiative, funded under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), a comprehensive flagship program of the Government of India, marks a dedicated effort to provide a modern and integrated learning environment.
A sanctioned amount of Rs 75,000 from Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) facilitated the construction of the Adarsha Prak Prathamik Classroom at Margherita Segunbari LP School, situated within the 83rd Margherita Constituency of Tinsukia district.
The inaugural ceremony was led by Paresh Baruah, Margherita block elementary education officer, and Jyotish Rai, the representative of MLA Bhaskar Sharma from the 83rd Margherita Constituency. The event saw the presence of Utpal Konwar, vice president of Assam State Prathamik Teachers Sanmeloni, headmistress Juli Chetia Phukan, teaching staff, and students.
Paresh Baruah highlighted that the Adarsha Prak Prathamik Classroom, initiated under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, embodies a modern education system. This classroom is designed to offer an improved learning environment for pre-nursery students, fostering efficient and attentive knowledge nurturing.
Expressing pride in the inauguration, Jyotish Rai, who commenced his primary education in the same school, highlighted the significance of the Adarsha Prak Prathamik Classroom and its role in shaping a better learning experience for students.
The inauguration ceremony showcased the commitment of educational authorities and representatives towards uplifting the quality of education and infrastructure for the benefit of students in the Margherita region.
