NAMSAI, June 4: The Arunachal Institute of Computer Learning (AICL), a newly established educational initiative under the National Board of Computer Education (NBCE), officially launched its operations today at Bage Tinali, Nirjuli. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Arunachal Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACC&I) president and Nirjuli IMC Corporator, Tarh Nachung, who also flagged off the institute’s first academic batch.

In a candid interaction with media representatives, Nachung issued a strong caution to students regarding the growing menace of fake educational certificates. He cited several alarming cases where students from Arunachal Pradesh had unknowingly obtained counterfeit certifications from institutes outside the state, only to face setbacks in their careers later.

“It is imperative that students thoroughly check the credentials of any institute before taking admission,” Nachung emphasized, urging students and parents alike to exercise due diligence.

He further called upon AICL to maintain high educational standards and uphold student welfare as a top priority. Stressing ethical responsibility in the education sector, Nachung made a heartfelt appeal to all private computer training centers:

“Please do not sell fake certificates for a few bucks. The damage it does to a student’s future is irreversible and harms the integrity of our state’s educational system.”

Also present at the event, prominent social worker Tok Tabin Camdir echoed Nachung’s sentiments, highlighting the importance of practical learning over rote memorization.

“In today’s competitive world, practical skills are far more valuable than mere theoretical understanding,” Camdir said, urging students to embrace hands-on experiences to boost their employability.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several notable figures including Tarh Tamey, Chairman of the Nirjuli Market Welfare Committee (NMWC), businessmen Govind Gupta and Nurul Haque, as well as executive members of NMWC and other dignitaries.

AICL aims to offer quality computer education in various domains including PGDCA, DCA, ADCA, Tally, and typing proficiency. With a clear focus on practical, career-oriented training, the institute aspires to bridge the digital skills gap among youth in the region.
