The road was inaugurated by a senior citizen and wife of former MLA Koloriang Lokam Sikio, in the presence of several local leaders, IMC corporators and ward members. The pavement was sponsored by IMC councillor Lokam Anand.

Local ward members and residents expressed their gratitude to the corporator and his family for providing much-needed proper road connectivity, which will ensure smooth transportation in the area. Residents shared that they had long faced hardships due to the poor condition of the existing road and that previous efforts to repair it had not materialized.

“Thanks to our local corporator Lokam Anand, the CC pavement has been constructed, and it is a happy occasion for all residents. We have started using the road for all purposes and appreciate the support of every resident who cooperated with the IMC corporator and his family,” locals said.

IMC ward members Nichi Fachang, Sartam Take, Charu Yamang, Rechi Tako, organising chairman Dagang Tah, organising secretary Tagru Taru and overall in-charge of the programme Gokia Kame also joined the inauguration ceremony and addressed the gathering.
