ITANAGAR, Sept 20: In a spirited celebration of Seva Pakhwada 2025, the BJP ST Morcha Arunachal Pradesh, led by President Shri Kame Yangfo, successfully organised a tree plantation programme at Energy Park, Itanagar, under the inspiring theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.”
The initiative carries a symbolic message—each sapling planted is dedicated to mothers, reflecting eternal love, respect, and gratitude, while also underscoring the collective responsibility to safeguard the environment. The programme aimed to promote a cleaner, greener, and healthier Arunachal Pradesh, inspiring citizens to contribute actively to environmental conservation.
The event was graced by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein and State BJP President Shri Kaling Moyong, whose participation added significance and motivation to the occasion. Several party leaders, officials, and local volunteers joined hands in planting saplings across the park, demonstrating unity and commitment to the cause.
Later in the day, the participants attended a documentary screening and exhibition organised by the BJP Itanagar District Unit in collaboration with the Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha, also under the banner of Seva Pakhwada. The exhibition highlighted the life and journey of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, illustrating his principles of Seva (Service), Sankalp (Resolution), and Vikas (Development).
The event was again honoured by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein, State BJP President Shri Kaling Moyong, State Vice President & Convenor Seva Pakhwada Shri Chau Zingnu Namchoom, along with Hon’ble MLAs, Mayor Shri Tamme Phassang, Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen, senior leaders, and dedicated Karyakartas. The exhibition served as a platform to showcase the vision and initiatives of the central government, inspiring participants to imbibe the values of service and dedication in their personal and social endeavours.
The BJP Arunachal Pradesh has extended an open invitation to the citizens of Itanagar to visit the exhibition at Energy Park. The party expressed gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and well-wishers for their enthusiastic support in making the initiatives a grand success.
Through these initiatives, the BJP ST Morcha reaffirmed its commitment to promoting environmental awareness, fostering civic responsibility, and working towards a sustainable and progressive Arunachal Pradesh. The tree plantation and exhibition together symbolised the intersection of ecological responsibility, cultural respect, and the spirit of public service, inspiring citizens to contribute to a brighter, greener future.
