Brahma Samaj organises Nam Kirtan

BISWANATH CHARIALI, June 4: 
The 52nd edition of twelve hours non-stop annual Nam Kirtan was organised at namghar premises of Nabil by Sri Sri Brahma Sanatan Sangha on Sunday at Nabil Brahma Gaon here.
The day-long programme began with the hoisting of a religious flag by Bishnu Mech, president of the village development committee followed by a Bhagwat procession. All villagers and representatives of various Kirtan teams participated in the programme. After the 12 hours non-stop annual Nam Kirtan, an open session was held with Bimal Mech, president of the central committee of Sri Sri Brahma Sanatan Sangha in the chair.
Meritorious students who shone in the recently declared HSLC examination were felicitated by the organisers with gamosa, a packet of books along with a citation. The session was attended by Kamini Mech, Bijit Daimari besides other dignitaries.
