4 injured in Rajmai

DEMOW, Nov 15: Four persons were seriously injured during a road accident that occurred at the
national highway-37 in Rajmai near Demow in Sivasagar district on Wednesday.
According to sources, a car bearing the registration number ‘AS 04 BC 3952’ was coming from Demow
towards Sivasagar collided head on with a mini truck bearing the registration number ‘AS 01 NC 4578’.
The mini truck was reportedly on its way from Guwahati to Dibrugarh when the collision occurred,
injuring the passengers inside the vehicles.
The injured persons were identified as Sajid Hussain (25), driver of the car, Akbar Ali (22), Pran Ali (29)
and Mirajul Haque (29), who were also travelling in the vehicle. The locals rushed them to the Demow
Model Hospital. After administering providing primary treatment doctors referred all the four to the
Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh for further treatment.
