GUWAHATI, June 19: A guest house named ‘Ajeya Bhawan’ was inaugurated on Monday at the premises of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) in Guwahati. The inauguration took place during a meeting organised by the Sadou Assam Janasanyog Karmachari Santha, in the presence of officials.
The guest house aims to provide accommodation for employees stationed in various districts and sub-divisions, allowing them to spend the night without any inconvenience. The establishment of the guest house is the result of the relentless efforts of the Sadou Assam Janasanyog Karmachari Santha committee. The guest house is dedicated to the officials and employees of Janasanyog on Monday, according to a statement from the Public Relations department.
Santha president Rasiduj Jamal and secretary Nilamoni Das mentioned that the guest house became a reality through savings from the Santha’s fund and contributions from employees of the head office, districts, and sub-divisions. They expressed their gratitude to former additional director Pradip Brahma, as well as to the officials and employees of the Santha for their support.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the additional director of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Sekhar Ingti, joint directors Dipak Basumatary and Rajib Saikia, as well as officials and employees from the head office.
