Speaking at a press conference in Dibrugarh, Bhupen Borah emphasised the rights of candidates who appeared for the third and fourth-grade examinations to access their results through the RTI process. He questioned the government’s reluctance to release the RTI report, despite many candidates having filed requests.

Bhupen Borah also raised concerns about the BJP’s approach to job creation, alleging the establishment of a network involving agents that facilitates bribery for jobs. He claimed that the BJP’s reputation for integrity has been tainted by recent revelations and alleged scams, including cash-for-job incidents.

Highlighting the party’s engagement with the public, Borah stated that the Congress party’s focus is on development and progress. He expressed doubts about the BJP’s claims of widespread development, suggesting that the ground reality may differ from their assertions. During interactions with the people, Borah alleged that they reported limited progress and development under the BJP-led government’s rule.
