Assam: Guwahati Jal Board to start testing distribution network, issues water leakage warning

Guwahati, Feb 23: The Guwahati Jal Board released a warning on Friday about potential water leakages due to upcoming flushing and testing of the distribution network in specific sections of the city.

The areas set for testing include GS Road, BK Kakoti, RK Mission, AK Azad Road, Dilip Huzuri Path, Duwarika Nagar, Rupkonwar Path/Junali Path, Rupkonwar Colony, Zakir Hussain Road and Hengrabari.

The board stated that during the trial run, water leakages might surface at some locations, which will be promptly fixed by their team.

They have requested all concerned citizens to cooperate during this operation.
