BISWANATH CHARIALI, Oct 25: Assam Rifles conducted a ‘Drug Awareness’ lecture for the students of ARHS, Lokra, with the primary objective of raising awareness and educating the community about the critical issue of substance abuse.
The comprehensive lecture covered a wide array of topics, including the detrimental effects of drug abuse on individuals and communities, strategies for prevention and intervention, and the various treatment options and resources available for recovery. The aim of this initiative was to empower students with the knowledge and tools necessary to combat the pervasive problem of substance abuse.

The event brought together 110 students and 26 teachers from the school, fostering an environment of learning and engagement. The students were encouraged to embrace a healthy lifestyle and distance themselves from drug abuse, thereby contributing to the creation of a safer and more prosperous community.
