JORHAT, May 6: In a proactive initiative to nurture academic and competitive excellence among students, the Assam Women’s University Alumni Association (AWUAA) in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the university has initiated a one-week coaching programme for candidates preparing for the UGC NET/SET examinations.
In the inaugural ceremony held on Monday, professor Ajanta Borgohain Rajkonwar, vice-chancellor of Assam Women’s University, highlighted the university’s commitment to empowering women and fostering a culture of competitive and academic excellence.
The week-long offline coaching sessions will be conducted by a panel of experienced faculty members and subject experts from various disciplines on the topics such as general knowledge, logical and mathematical reasoning, information and communication, data interpretation, research and teaching aptitude, etc.
Prashanta Puzari, director of IQAC and the programme co-ordinator mentioned that around 200 participants from various departments and institutions will be participating in the week-long coaching.
