Assamese film ‘Agniveer’ wraps shooting in Kharupetia

DALGAON, Dec 27: Bringing more excitement to the Assamese film industry, a big-budget Assamese film titled ‘Agniveer’ is currently in production under the banner of RB Productions. The action thriller film, anticipated for an early release next year, has been shooting in various locations across Assam, including Guwahati, for the past two months. The latest leg of the shoot has been taking place in Kharupetia, Darang, for the past two days.

Packed with thrills, action, and emotions, ‘Agniveer’ showcases diverse landscapes of Assam, including a significant scene shot at the Barwari Durga Temple in Kharupetia. The film, directed by Rajni Barman, features a star-studded cast including Baharul Islam, Champak Sharma, Akashdeep, Siddhant Kalita, Nayan Nirban Barua, Hiranya Das, Atul Pachani, Bhruti Medhi, Kinkini Bhattacharya, Navraj Barua, Chinmay Fukan, Diganta Das, Amarendra Bhagwati, Kumaresh Dutta, Anjan Jyoti Baz, Pinky Sharma, and many other new and established artists.

The film’s action scenes are directed by RK Sri, a talented South Indian director, with a 15-member team from South India. The songs, directed by Ajay Phukan, feature performances by renowned artists like Zubeen Garg, Neel Akash, Papri Gogoi, Mayuri Dutta, Rohan Kashyap, and Sudarshana Bhagwati.

‘Agniveer’ is set to hit the screens in February next year, and additional song sequences will be filmed in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, and Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. The film promises to be a visual treat for audiences, showcasing the scenic beauty of Assam and delivering high-octane action and drama.
