JORHAT, Jan 15: Three persons including two from Nagaland were arrested on Wednesday on charges of vehicle theft from the Bekajan area in Titabar co-district district of Jorhat district.

According to a police source the three have been identified as Amar Gogoi, a resident of Bekajan under Borholla police station, Athango Yanthan of Chanka under Sanis police station in Wokha district, Nagaland and Wopansao Ezung, also of Chanka in Wokha district, Nagaland.

The source said that the trio was involved in several incidents of two-wheeler lifting and ferrying them to Wokha district in Nagaland. The police are working to try to trace the stolen bikes.
